I AM MOST TIMES DISSAPOINTED, MY LOVE REMAINS ENDLESS

My heart smiles when I hear the name

My heart blossom with beauty when I see the name

Her performance alone I always long to see

My prayer for her to win is always like that of a mother for her child

But still, it ends in disappointment afterall.

Manchester United is a football team in England which I have been a fan of for close to two decades. A team I enjoy watching on the field of play and a team I always long for her success and outstanding achievement. Over 5 years that the team lost her longest serving manager to retirement, the team has been struggling for survival and has since dropped in the level of achievement that the team is known for.

I leave my comfort and even discomfort zone just to go support my beloved club and I end up coming back home sad and disappointed but this never stop me from going back. The life of so many football fans of different clubs also have this kind of love and loyalty to their club of choice and on different occasions also get fucked up by the clubs failure and ill performance which as a matter of fact they don’t even get paid for.

The above scenario is just to paint a picture and draw your attention to the main idea in this write up.

So many times we get pissed off, disappointed, worried and frustrated at what life throws at us and we feel like quitting. So many times we get so exhausted of our hope, faith and believe in life that it seems like nothing is ever going to work out well for us anymore. So many times we cry, draw back, get confused and we seek refuge in the unknown.

As a football fan who dose’nt even know in person any of the players on the field of play, we never give up hope and faith of seeing them win, we never stop cheering and supporting the team even though they can’t see us doing it to either thank or motivate us to do more, but still we keep on going back despite the failures and disappointment they bring to us, we keep on pushing and even fighting our colleagues’, families and neighbours if they talk ill of our beloved team.

Are you getting tired of the failures that comes your way?

Are you getting exhausted of the hope for a better tomorrow?

Are you being disappointed by that Uncle, that Aunt, that helper irrespective of their promises still go ahead to fail you?

Have you ever thought of quitting that job because of the pressure at work?

Have you ever thought of giving up on your dream because of the frustrations and all?

Have you ever thought of breaking that relationship or marriage because you think grass is greener somewhere else?

Is your business at the verge of relegating because sales, clients and customers are not forthcoming?

Upon all the motivational books and strategic books you’ve read and is still reading, are you not getting it right afterall?

Don’t give up yet, don’t stop believing, don’t ever think of pulling out or quitting that course. You were created by a creator who is all in all and you are made for more. Like game fans never stop going back to support their beloved team irrespective of the disappointments and failures, your dream is more than that, your life is more, your vision and aspiration is more than that, your essence on planet earth is more than that, you are more than any situation that have, may or will arise.

I’ll like to conclude on this note; Life is like a football league, you are a team competing in a league with other teams, the focus should not only be ‘when are you going to win the league, but, how are you going to win the league’.
