Increasing Your Value Before Anyone

Image
I got into a discussion this morning with a Corps member who was having issues with her boss at work on a powerful secret that affects the progress of many in life. I got into a the discussion and asked her "if someone meets you and ask you about Mr. Abiodun of so so so, would you have something to say?", and her answer was yes. I pressed further what she would say if she was asked. She then mentioned that "I will say  He is hardworking ". Like really! How do you know that? I created an impression on her mind when we met for the first time speaking for only about 10 minutes. That is just an example of how the first impression we make on people's mind go a long way to determine what people perceive of us and how valuable we are.   Darling, we can create an impression in 2 seconds that people can carry for up to 2 years. MY ROTARACT STORY

Image
It all started about some reasonable years ago! My elder brother happened to be a bonafide member of Rotaract Club at the Prestigious Owo Polytechnic in Ondo State. His style, way of life and sudden transformation in approaches to life issues caught my attention and made me deep further to what he has actually engaged himself in that caused this kind of positive shift and it was through my findings I got to know about Rotaract Club. The Purpose and Goals of Rotaract then attracted me so well that even when I was yet to gain admission into a tertiary institution, I was already a Rotaractor at heart. In the year 2013, I gained admission to the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti (Fresher as fondly called) but with the mind-set and mentality I've developed overtime, I vowed not to settle for less and mandate myself to pursue greatness even outside the confine of Academics which happened to be my primary aim of coming to Ado-Ekiti. Was introduced to Rotaract Club meeting on camp

What's the difference between a business mogul/Entrepreneur and a person who sits and complains of finances. The difference lies in the ability to see what others see as a problem as a business opportunity. Let me share with you a story of a 10-year-old boy who lost his left arm in an accident. In a bid to encourage him, his father made him undergo training as a Judoka, he was consistent with his training and took part in a Judo tournament, he defeated his first opponent and the second opponent with just one hand and finally won the tournament by defeating his third opponent.  From this story, it shows that the boy's greatest weakness be
