Increasing Your Value Before Anyone

I got into a discussion this morning with a Corps member who was having issues with her boss at work on a powerful secret that affects the progress of many in life.

I got into a the discussion and asked her "if someone meets you and ask you about Mr. Abiodun of so so so, would you have something to say?", and her answer was yes.

I pressed further what she would say if she was asked. She then mentioned that "I will say He is hardworking".

Like really!

How do you know that? I created an impression on her mind when we met for the first time speaking for only about 10 minutes.

That is just an example of how the first impression we make on people's mind go a long way to determine what people perceive of us and how valuable we are.

Darling, we can create an impression in 2 seconds that people can carry for up to 2 years. You can create a bad impression in 2 minutes but need 2 years to change it

When you go before people, always remember their impression about you will determine what value they think you can offer and the kind of opportunities they can channel to you. There may never be a second chance to change a first impression.

Your value starts measuring from the first time you meet with a person. Be nice to people when you meet them. Put up a smile and make people happy meeting you. Laugh them out if you can. Appreciate something about them.

Not too long, someone will remember you when there is an opportunity.

We will be wise!
