RELATIONSHIP TRUTH

The above post has been flying online for some days now and I’ll just love to drop my view about the subject.

Relationship and Marriage is a very delicate and exceptional part of life that if one is misled can cause harm to the relationship. Truth be told, the points packaged in the write up are cogent and reasonable necessities of a working relationship but like I told one of my protégé ‘It is a partial truth’.

I do totally agree with the later part which categorized the traits that should be commonly possessed by both party as it is accurate and true. My contradiction comes in the other two categories.

Human beings are created, wired and brought up differently which makes it expedient to know that we have different mentality and personality. The fact that we are twins, nevertheless identical does not implies we won't have subtle differences.

(Age, Knowledge, Cash, Patience, Neatness, Love, Planning and Prayer)

A divergence of any of these among the parties involved is not necessarily the determinants of a smooth and successful relationship or marriage. We have marriages that the wife earns more and knows more than the husband and they still live in peace and are making impact in their own space. My biological father can sweep the floor of our flat eight(8) times in a day and take his bath as many times he so wishes which gives him edge in the neatness part and that dose’nt affect the growth of the family. How do a woman beat a man who is peradventure an event planner by occupation or by nature when it comes to the case of planning.

To mention but a few, the success of any relationship is determined by the level of Understanding between the two party, their understanding about life, nature and the level of Respect they both havefor each others differences.Do not waste away your time searching for a man that is more knowledgeable than you do or waiting to come across a lady that plans more than you do. Go for your conviction of him or her, grow together, manage eachothers differences and shine on.

I am neither going against the idea professed in the picture above, rather, all I am doing is to try and create a balance from my standpoint for the sake of the minds that inappropriately receives information, process it and move on to acting on it without accurately checking and creating a balance. On this note, I so submit.
