I LET THE SHOE GO

A strong lesson HALF SHOE actually taught me last year was that; UNTIL YOU POSSES THAT TREASURE, HEIGHT AND POSITION WHICH YOU ENVY WHEN OTHERS DO, YOU MAY NEVER UNDERSTAND THE PAIN THERE IN.

Whenever I see a young man putting on this shoe, there is always a joy that emanates within which afterwards provoke a kind of hunger to posses it. This hunger keeps hunting me for days and months until I finally yielded and I got myself one.

The purchase of this beautiful treasure marks the beginning of my understanding of the words written in capital letter above. Not that it only looks good and nice on me, I also receive complements from people on how well it fits me and how smart it is whenever I walk with it. Little did they know they pain I pass through having to put the shoe on for a whole day (it’s always like a baking room).

My Points;

* Many times we long for the things people possess and we do not.

* Many times we envy people doing well in some areas of life more than we are.

* Many times we hunger for the things that appeals to our heart and all we do is look for all means to quench this hunger.

* Many times we forget to acknowledge that pleasant height we have attained and focus on the ones others have that we have not.

Many Times! Many Times!! Many Times!!!

What we seems not to understand is the fact that, for every possession, for every height, for every position, there is always a pain to bear. This pain is what many do not patiently wait to prepare for and they end up getting discouraged, devastated and caught unaware.

Before you crave for that height, ask for the pain and sacrifices involved.

Before you fight for that position, be patient and study the process so as to not hit yourself on the leg. Behind every outward glory and success, there is always a pain therein and only those who have mastered to bear the pain will enjoy the gain.

2021, resolve not to only envy and crave for the things that appeals to your heart but, to also patiently attain a level of knowing that will expose you to the pain therein so as to strongly prepare.

As for me, I let the shoe go on the 31st of December 2021 and not getting another till I get a car to ease my movements.

Happy New Year
