MY LEADERSHIP JOURNEY (A Testament Of Possibility)

MY LEADERSHIP JOURNEY (A Testament Of Possibility)

My Leadership Journey stands as a testament to the possibilities of transformation and progressive growth throughout the years.

From a young age, I had a unique enthusiasm for influence, impact, and high performance, a passion that continues to shape my approach today.

During my primary school years, I actively participated in a range of activities, from debate competitions to quiz contests and dance presentations, which will always have me lead the team of students.

As a bright student, transitioning to secondary school was relatively smooth as I easily gained admission into the ever amazing Oyemekun Grammar School (OGSA), in the city of Akure, Ondo State. At the secondary school level, leadership took on a more personal dimension, emphasizing self-leadership in navigating the school environment, as we have a lot of students from diverse backgrounds and with different knowledge exposure.

Upon admission to study Accountancy at The Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti in 2014, my personal development and leadership journey soared. Juggling executive roles in multiple associations and running a Printing Business, I found platforms for growth in the Rotaract Club and Nigeria Future Accountant departmental club.

In 2019 when I returned for my Higher National Diploma, I contested and was elected as the Faculty President, Business Students' Association, and also was inaugurated as the Rotaract Club President, marking a season of exponential growth through diligence, excellence, and courage.

My service year in Anambra State in 2021 presented new leadership challenges. As the Head Of Corpers at my primary place of assignment (PPA), and Njikoka Local Government Coordinator for Digital Onboarders, I successfully led a team of corps members, achieving notable success. My passion for the Kingdom Business also gave birth to a weekly worship meeting that literally was a blessing at the time.

Currently, I serve as the Convener of Unveiling Summit, an annual Transformational Summit at the Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State. Additionally, I hold the role of Brand Strategist at DanWilliams Consult, a Business Formation and Printing Consultancy Firm, collaborating with some other amazing team members.

My leadership journey has been richly influenced by a quote authored by myself, "Don't try to be someone else, because the more you try, the more you lose yourself".
